Living with Ceramics
Our pieces are designed for daily utility. With mindful use, these high-fired stoneware products will last generations. The raw, unglazed exterior will naturally develop a subtle patina over time, recording the history of its use.
Washing & Stains
While our vessels are dishwasher safe, we highly recommend hand-washing to preserve the integrity of the raw clay exterior. Use a soft brush and mild dish soap.
For unglazed surfaces, strong pigments (like coffee, turmeric, or red wine) may cause slight staining if left for prolonged periods. Rinse promptly after use.
Thermal Shock
Our high-fired stoneware is microwave safe, but sudden, extreme temperature changes can cause thermal shock and crack the piece. Never pour boiling water into an ice-cold mug, or place a cold dish directly into a hot oven. Allow pieces to transition slowly to extreme temperatures.
Storage & Moisture
Ensure pieces are completely dry before storing in a closed cupboard, especially unglazed items. The porous nature of raw clay can trap moisture if not allowed to breathe, which can lead to musty odors.
